    Authentic Sunni Sufism

    Authentic Sunni Sufism is the science of purifying and refining the soul upon the guidance of the Qur'an and the Sunnah, in balance and moderation, in line with the authentic Moroccan religious constants.

    The International Academic Center for Sufi and Aesthetic Studies is devoted to reviving the Sufi heritage and renewing the sciences of tazkiyah. We do not study the Sufi heritage as history alone, but turn it from silent texts into a living methodology whose effect appears on the individual and society.

    The Center embodies a Prophetic educational approach, joining knowledge with nurturing and guidance, under the direction of Sheikh Dr. Aziz El Kobaiti Idrissi Al-Hassani, president of the Center and shaykh of the Prophetic Approach.

    The Sheikh's way is the way of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jamāʿah, on the school of Imam Mālik in jurisprudence and Imam al-Ashʿarī in creed, with a chain in the sciences of tazkiyah connected to the Messenger of God ﷺ.
